MOPPETS
(MOPPETS = MOPS Children)

Childcare will be provided for all MOPS meeting attendees. Children will be divided into age appropriate groups and cared for in our nursery and classrooms. They will enjoy playtime, hear stories and participate in a craft and other age appropriate activities.  Snack will be provided during the MOPS meetings.

Please help us provide a wonderful experience for your children by adhering to the following guidelines:

Bring a change of clothes for your children (including socks) and at least three diapers if your child is not potty trained.
Label all items (including bottles and cups) with child's name.
Sick Child Policy:

This guideline is set up to protect the little ones and to keep our childcare areas healthy. If your child has a fever, diarrhea, vomiting or a cold that is in the coughing, sneezing or runny nose stage home is the best place to be.  We also ask that any contagious illnesses such as chickenpox, impetigo, pink-eye, strep, etc., be included in your decision to skip MOPS that week.  Once again, we thank you for your cooperation and consideration.

Wait List Policy:

1. We do not limit the number of mothers who may attend our MOPS meetings. If you have alternate childcare arrangement, you are welcome to attend all of our meetings.

2. We must limit the number of children in our MOPPETS program due to the number of childcare workers. When our childcare register is full, we will activate a waiting list for our MOPPETS enrollment. New MOPS members should contact Tery Carey, Oak Ridge MOPS Coordinator, to either enroll a child or place the child on the waiting list.

3. If a new mother comes to a meeting during a waiting list period, she may attend that specific meeting and place her children in childcare. After her first meeting she will need to contact Tery Carey, Oak Ridge MOPS Coordinator to enroll her child or place her child on the MOPPETS waiting list.

4. Waiting list moms will be assigned to a discussion group so that they will be included in additional activities - such as play dates and Mom's Night Out activities - where childcare is not provided.

If you are interested in helping with MOPPETS, please contact us below.  You do not need to attend Oak Ridge Baptist Church to assist with the childcare needs of Oak Ridge MOPS.  A childcare application must be completed prior to working with our children.  References and screening process are required as we take the security of our children seriously.  Volunteer and paid positions are available.  We look forward to you joining our MOPPETS program which is an integral part of our MOPS program!
